Skills / Eligibility
An Online Interview for the engagement of a Junior Research Fellow (on contract basis) for a Research Project in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, NIT Calicut is scheduled to be held on 17.12.2021. 1. Name of the Post : Junior Research Fellow 2. Duration of Engagement : Up to 31.03.2022 (on contract basis) and extendable based on the performance of the candidate and availability of the project fund. 3. Name of the sponsoring Agency : Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India. 4. Name of Project : “Design and development of a deep learning based online-assistance system for psychologists by transforming patient transcripts to speech with emotions using text to speech synthesis” 5. Qualifications : (B.E/B.Tech/M.E. /M.Tech/M.Sc in CSE/IT/ECE or MCA) with GATE/NET 6. Desirable Experience : Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in Natural Language Processing, Machine learning and Python programming with good publications. 7. Consolidated monthly pay : Rs. 31,000/- (Rupees thirty one thousand only) per month (consolidated)

Selection Procedure
The interview will be conducted online and the date of which will be informed to the selected candidates through their e-mail.
How to Apply:
1. Candidates have to send an application form in the prescribed format (annexed) as e-mail to [email protected] with subject “Application for JRF: SERB-CSED/JP”. The self attested copy of all the relevant certificates/document proofs scanned and merged as a single PDF file also has to be sent along with the application form.
2. The Institute reserves the right to relax qualification and experience for the candidates with exceptional credentials.
3. Applicants who are employed in government or any other organizations are required to send a “No Objection Certificate” from the employer, if selected for the interview.
4. Last date to receive the submission of online application: 15.12.2021 at 4.00pm
