Applications are invited from Indian citizens for the temporary post of Scientific Administrative Assistant/ Field Operator for DST sponsored project in the Science, Technology, and Innovation Hub, NIT Silchar, Assam. Advertisement No. NITS/Dean(R&C/ME/592/01 1. Title of the project : Establishment of Science, Technology and Innovation Hub in NIT Silchar, Cachar, Assam, for the socio-economic upliftment of SC/ST population in Assam 2. Post name : Scientific Administrative Assistant/ Field Operator 3. No of Post : 04 4. . Essential Qualification : B.E. in Civil Engineering or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering and related branches of Civil Engineering from recognized University.An undergraduate degree (03/04 years) in Ayurveda/ Naturopathy/ Botany/ Horticulture/ Forestry/ Plant Biotechnology and related branches. An undergraduate in Commerce (B.Com.) from a recognized universityB.E./B. Tech. or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering from recognized university/Institute 5. Salary/Emoluments : Rs. 18,000/-per month 6. Desirable Qualification : Candidates having knowledge of rainwater harvesting systems, groundwater recharge will be given preference. Proficiency (Read, Write and Speak) in Bodo, Assamese, and English language with computer database creation and management knowledge will be preferred. B.Com. with honors in Accounting and Finance from a recognized university with proficiency in Computers, accounting software with relevant experience in handling accounts and related tasks. Candidates should have knowledge of CAD/CAE software with hands-on experience in material development and processing
