Eligibility Criteria – Tezpur University JRF/SRF Recruitment 2026

Educational Qualification

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF): M.E./M.Tech./M.S./M.Sc./MCA/B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, AI, Data Science, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Life Sciences, or related discipline. Must have valid CSIR/UGC NET (including Assistant Professorship)/GATE or qualified in National Level Examination (DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc.) or Category-II merit list of DBT-BET.
• Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Same as JRF plus two years of research experience.

Age Limit

Maximum 32 years. Age relaxation as per Government of India rules.

Salary / Stipend – Tezpur University Recruitment 2026

• JRF: Rs. 37,000 + HRA per month
• SRF: Rs. 42,000 + HRA per month

Salary as per 7th CPC and DST norms.
