Applications are invited from Indian citizens for the temporary post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the DST sponsored R&D project at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, NIT Silchar. The selected candidate will work on a project titled "Automation scope in fabricating biodegradable super-hydrophobic composite using banana pseudostem fiber and beeswax for sustainable packaging applications."

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

• Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through National Eligibility Tests (CSIR-UGC NET/GATE) or other National level examinations conducted by DST, DRDO, IISC, IIT, IISER etc. as per Office Memorandum for Revision of Research Emoluments from Government of India, Ministry of Science & Technology Date: 26th June 2023.
• Desirable Experience: Specialization in Mechanical engineering.
• Age Limit: Maximum 35 Years. (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN/PWD/EWS candidates as per Govt. of India Rules).
