Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must meet one of the following (A or B):

• Option A: Ph.D. degree in the advertised area with at least 55% marks in the preceding Master’s degree (or equivalent grade) in a relevant subject from an Indian University. The Ph.D. must comply with UGC 2009/2016 regulations.
• Option B: Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked among top 500 in QS, THE, or ARWU rankings.

Specific Requirements for Each Position

• Position 1 (Animal Sciences): M.Sc. in Life Science (specialization in Animal Science)/Zoology/Biotechnology with Ph.D. in Animal Sciences and experience in molecular techniques.
• Position 2 (Microbial Biotechnology & Biochemistry): M.Sc. in Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology with Ph.D. in Microbiology/Biotechnology.

Publication in relevant area is essential for both positions.

Salary & Benefits

Selected candidates will be paid a fixed emolument of Rs. 80,000 per month. No other allowances are admissible. The appointment is for 11 months, renewable based on performance.
