3. Roles & Responsibilities :

a. Develop and support strategies for Programme implementation and outreach.

b. Support the partner organizations in developing capacity building modules for Government officials for better understanding of the needs of young children within the urban ecosystem, especially amongst key stakeholders of city/state administrators, academia, and civil society partners.

c. Support the partner organizations in capacity building of government officials and young professionals. 

d. Drive the programme to achieve outputs and outcomes in terms of creating young child friendly cities and spaces by ensuring use of knowledge and capacities created under the Programme by various stakeholders.

e. Develop knowledge products in the form of toolkits (i.e. data baseline and dash board), checklist etc.  Ensure adherence to cadence and communication systems/processes put in place. 

f. Support the team in the overall functioning and day-to day operations of the Programme at NIUA. Participate in various Programme related meetings and discussions. 

4. Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

a. Master’s degree in Urban Planning. 

b. Minimum 4 - 6 years of work experience in the urban social development sector, with focus on inclusive development, children. 

c. Good verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English and Hindi.

d. Prior knowledge of working with urban sector professionals and stakeholders leveraging training and capacity building programme in urban/municipal domains.

e. Demonstrated experience of having worked with multi-stakeholder projects at scale with internal and external teams.

5. Location of position: NIUA office, New Delhi; with travel to cities as required.

6. Remuneration: Depending on current salary, skill and experience. Please mention your current salary in the CV.
