Age Relaxation (as on 01.07.2026): OBC(NCL): 3 years; SC/ST: 5 years; PwBD: additional 10 years over category limit. Ex-servicemen as per government guidelines.

🎯 Selection Process
The selection comprises three stages, with the following weightages:
- Computer Based Test (CBT): 85% weightage
- Group Discussion (GD) & Group Task (GT): 5% weightage (minimum 40% pass marks)
- Personal Interview (PI): 10% weightage (minimum 40% pass marks)
Minimum Composite Score: Gen/EWS/OBC(NCL) – 45%, SC/ST – 40%, PwBD – 30%.

- Each question: 1 mark. Negative marking: 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.
- Qualifying Marks: Gen/EWS/OBC: 40% in each section & 45% overall; SC/ST: 35% in each & 40% overall; PwBD: 25% in each & 30% overall.
- CBT will be held at 83 test centers across India. Candidates must give 3 preferences.

Applications must be submitted online only through the official IOCL website. Follow these steps:
- Visit Website: Go to www.iocl.com and click on the "APPLY ONLINE" link under the recruitment section.
- New Registration: Click "Click here for New Registration" and enter Name, Contact details, and Email ID. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated.
- Fill Application: Log in with the credentials and fill the form carefully. Use "SAVE AND NEXT" to save progress. Verify all details before final submission.
- Upload Documents: Upload scanned photograph (4.5cm x 3.5cm, 20–50 KB), signature (10–20 KB), and left thumb impression (20–50 KB) as per specifications. Also capture a live photo via webcam or mobile.
- Complete Registration: After previewing and ensuring all details are correct, click 'COMPLETE REGISTRATION'. No changes are allowed after this step.
