Notification For Engagement Of Advisor (Hydro-geology & Initiative Project), NLC India Limited As Per Nlcil’s Policy For Availing Services Of Former/retired Senior Executives As Advisors / Consultants
1. Name of the Post: Advisor (Hydro-geology & Initiative Project)
2. No.of Posts: One post
3. Place of Posting: Neyveli
4. Grade/Level: E8 (GM) and above grade executive retired from NLCIL or any other PSU.
5. Nature of work:
a. Providing Technical guidance and assistance related to Geological, Geo-Hydrological, Geo-technical studies and Environmental other statutory compliance pertaining to Neyveli Mines.
b. Guiding in preparation & submission of Mining Plan report for Minor Minerals, Ground water related compliance report to MoEF & CC, MoC, CGWB and TN Govt.
c. Interacting & Co-ordinating with State and Central Government agencies in matters pertaining to Mining lease for Lignite and Minor Minerals, Overburden to Sand project and Lignite block reservation of NLCIL.
d. Preparation Compliance report/reply to MoEF & CC, MoC, NGT and other queries/petitions on ground water/mine water pumping, utilisation & Disposal and Ground water clearance for Mine-III.
e. Guiding and & assisting in “Study on Land use/Land cover through satellite imagery” for NLCIL leasehold area for MoEF & CC compliance.
6. Qualification: M.Sc., / M.Tech. in Geology / Applied Geology from a recognized University.
7. Experience:
Coal / Lignite Exploration works.Ground Water Control / Management in Coal / Lignite Mines. Hydro-geological and Geo-technical works pertaining to Mining projects. Pursuing with State/Central Govt. agencies on the matters pertaining to Mining Lease, NOC for Ground Water etc
8. Remuneration: Consolidated monthly compensation / honorarium will be fixed in minimum of the scale pay in which he / she retired. (or) as may be recommended by Selection Committee

Selection Procedure
Selection will be done by a Selection Committee. NLCIL reserves the right to shortlist candidates for Selection process.

4. NLCIL Management shall not be responsible for delay in transit, if any. Applications received after the due date will not be considered.
5. NLCIL reserves the right to cancel/restrict/modify/alter the engagement process, if required, without issuing any further notice or assigning any reason thereof.
6. Any modifications/amendments in this notification will be published on NLCIL website only
7. The decision of Competent Authority of NLCIL in the matter will be final & binding upon all.
