The eligible candidates may attend WALK-IN-INTERVIEW on 4-12-2021 by 11:30AM at the office of Director, Institute of Biotechnology, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad-30 to work as Junior Research Fellow (JRF) on temporary post in SERB-CRG funded Project on "Marker assisted pyramiding of BPH resistant genes into “Telangana Sona”, a popular rice variety of Telangana using candidate gene and SSR based markers ". 1. Name of the Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF) 2. No. of Posts : 1 3. Qualifications Prescribed - Essential qualification: M.Sc. (Ag) Plant Molecular Biology & Biotechnology/ master’s degree in biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Genetics/ Plant Physiology with two years of experience Net qualification conducted by ASRB/ICAR/UGC/ CSIR/ DBT for the candidates with 3 years degree 4. Desirable qualification: Experience in Genomics/molecular characterization of rice genotypes/conducting field trials/data analysis/writing skills/crossing and evaluation of genotypes for abiotic stresses 5. Duration: March, 2024
