Applications are being invited for the various vacant posts from officials of Indian Railways. The specifications/ requirements of the vacancies are as under:-
VACANCY NOTICE No. 05/2022
1. Position: JGMs/ DGMs(Projects)
2. No of Post: 03 (01 each at Nagpur, Somnath & Jodhpur)
3. Terms of Appointment: Normal deputation terms
4. Tenure of Deputation: 5 years (3 years + 2 years i.e. 4th and 5th year extendable by VC/RLDA.)
5. Eligibility:
a) JGM:-Working on analogous posts or Group A officer working on regular posts in Level 13/ Level 12 of IRSE cadre of Indian Railways or engineering officers having corresponding grade and 9 years Group 'A service on regular posts in Civil Engineering Cadre Of Central Government/ State Govt./ Indian Railways/ PSUs/ Statutory Authorities.
b) DGM: Working on analogous posts or a Group A or Group B Gazetted officer working on regular post in Level 12/ Level 11 from Civil Engineering Cadre of Indian Railways/Central Govt./ State Govt./ PSUs of Central Govt. & State Govt./PSEs/Statutory Authorities, having Degree in Civil Engineering/ Architecture with 6 years of service in Group 'A/ Group B Or Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Architecture with 15 years experience
6. Desirable: Previous experience of financial aspect in Land/ Estate Management.

Willing and eligible Officers may send their applications in the enclosed Proforma (available in Career' Section of website: rlda.indianrailways.gov.in) through proper channel along with attested copies of upto date APARs for last five years to Dy. General Manager (HR), Rail Land Development Authority, Unit No.-702-B, 7th Floor, Konnectus Tower-I, DMRC Building, Ajmeri Gate, Delhi-110002 by 20.05.2022. Applications alongwith its enclosures in single PDF File (Maximum size 50MB) may also be forwarded on email id: [email protected] on or before 20.05.2022.
2. Applications received through proper channel and with verification of service particulars, SPE/D&AR/VIGILANCE clearance and enclosure of APARs will be preferred. However a copy of application may. also be sent by the applicant in advance to RLDA for timely processing of selection. On selection, such applicants will be allowed to join RLDA after NOC, Vigilance/ D&AR Clearance & relieving by the parent office.

Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) is a statutory Authority, under the Ministry of Railways, set-up by an Amendment to the Railways Act, 1989, for development of vacant Railway Land for commercial use for the purpose of generating revenue by non-tariff measures.
RLDA has since been constituted in terms of Extraordinary Gazette Notification dated 31.10.2006, as amended on 5.1.2007. The Rules for functioning of RLDA have also been notified in the Extraordinary Gazette dated 4.1.2007.
Indian Railways (IR) has approximately 43,000 hectares of vacant land. Land which is not required for operational purposes in the foreseeable future would be identified by the zonal railways and the details thereof would be advised to Railway Board.
