Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC) Belgaum was established on 2nd May 1980, comes under Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). It is an autonomous body under Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.
The prime objective of Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC) is to carry out Scientific Evaluation of Herbal Medicines, for codified as well as non-codified system, The center conduct studies on diseases of regional importance and the utility of traditional medicines in treatment of Diseases.
