Sainik School Bijapur (SSB) was established on 16th September 1963, The aim of school is to prepare boys academically, physically and mentally for entry into the National Defence Academy (NDA) Pune.
The school functioning under the Army Headquarters, New Delhi. The School is affiliated to CBSE and NDA Education for Senior Secondary level.
The main objective of School is to prepare students to meet needs of Army Personnel, to develop Academic Excellence, Discipline, Character Building and National Integration.
The SSB carter to provide quality education to students in academic discipline of, Maths, Social Science, General Science, English, Sanskrit, Hindi, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Education, Physical Education,Games & Sports, Classical Dance, Folk Dance, Music,and also provide infrastructural facilities like, Biological Lab, Science Lab, Computer Lab, Library, & state of the art hostel and Canteen facilities to their students.
