Online Applications are invited from eligible sports persons from the residents of Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahoul & Spiti districts, Panji sub-division of Himachal Pradesh and Andaman & Nicobar, Lakshadweep Islands in the following fields to recruit 21 (Twenty one) sports persons in Group 'C' posts in Grade Pay 2000/1900 (Level 3/2 in 7th CPC) in Pay Band of 5200-20200 against sports Quota through Open Advertisement for the year 2021-22 in South Central Railway.

3. Educational qualifications: - Minimum pass in 10th or SSC or equivalent with ITI for Grade Pay æ1900/- (ITI is essential for considering in Technical Trades). For other categories in Grade Pay 2000/1900 is 12th (+2 Stage) or Intermediate or Equivalent Examination. Date of Notification will be the cut-off date for passing the prescribed qualification.
4. Pay Band Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay 2000/1900 (Level 3/2 in 7th CPC)

Age Limit: 18 to 25 years as on 01-01-2022 (No relaxation in lower or upper age limit for any Category of candidates).
Selection Procedure
(i) Selection is based on total marks obtained by the candidates. The distribution of marks is as under:- Total Marks: 100 Marks
(ii) Minimum qualifying marks for recruitment through Open Advertisement in Grade Pay of Rs. 2000/1900/- in Pay Band Rs. 5200.20200/- is 65 marks out of 100 marks.
(iii) Trials of the candidates shall be conducted to assess their sports performance and suitability for Railway/Unit team as well as Indian Railways team. Trial Committee shall give its recommendation in terms of either FIT or NOT FIT for consideration for next stage, by giving marks (maximum 40 marks), as per the criteria given below:-
(a) For game skill, physical fitness and Coach's observations during Trials: 40 Marks
(b) FIT candidate: Candidate securing 25marks or more.
(c) NOT FIT candidate: Candidate securing marks below 25.
(iv) After the Trials, a final merit list will be put up to the competent authority for final approval.
(v) All field trials for recruitment of sportspersons through Open Advertisement quota will be video-graphed.
How to Apply:
a) Opening Date/time of Online Application: 18-12-2021/17:00 hrs
b) Closing Date/Time of Online Application: 17-01-2022/23:59 hrs
1. Submission of ONLINE APPLICATION is of Four stages: Registration, Personal Details/Education qualification/Sports achievement, Upload Photo/ signature/ certificates of Education qualification/Sports achievement & Payment of processing fees.
2. Visit the website of South Central Railway (www.scr.indianrailways.gov.in) or RRC/SCR webpage.
3. Click on the "ONLINE/E-APPPLICATION for sports Quota recruitment 2021- 22" link.
4. Candidates can view & download Detailed notification available in the webpage before applying.
5. Click on the "New Registration"
6. Candidate will be directed to Registration page wherein he/she has to enter Name, valid mobile number, E-Mail ID & Date of Birth after which OTP will be sent to the provided mobile number, E-Mail ID. Enter the OTP received and click on "SUBMIT".
7. A User ID & password will be sent to registered provided mobile number, E- Mail ID which has to be preserved till the finalization of selection process.
8. Candidates will be directed o login page wherein the User ID & password has to be entered for submission of application.
9. Fill in the details i.e address, community (SC/STOBC/UR), if belongs to Minority/ EBC, Education Qualification/ Sports achievement etc.
10. In next page candidate has to upload recent color photograph of size 3.5cm x 3.5cm (not older than three months from the date of application) with clear front view of the candidate without cap and sunglasses should be uploaded. The photo should be only in JPEG format, upload specimen signature as per the specifications mentioned in the website.
11. Also upload all the required educational certificates & Sports Achievement certificates (All sports achievement certificates are to be uploaded in one PDF) as per the specifications mentioned in the website.
12. After uploading submit after which all the details entered/uploaded by the candidates will be displayed. If there are any changes to be made candidate can click on "EDIT" button to complete the changes or he/she can proceed for payment by clicking "PAYMENT OF FEES".
13. After successful payment of processing fee an acknowledgement receipt will be displayed, which can be downloaded and take printout of the application form submitted. A copy of the same will be sent to registered mail ID which can be preserved by the candidate for future reference.
14. Candidate may login at any stage for completing the submission process of online application after getting registered by clicking "Existing User Login" in the home page.
Important Instructions:
1. Candidate will be subjected for their fitness in the relevant medical classification during the medical examination by Railway Medical Authorities prior to his/her appointment in the allotted post after due selection.
2. Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities will be given free travelling authority in second class when called for trials.
3. No TA/DA, Accommodation will be provided while appearing the selections/trials. Candidates should come prepared to stay at the place of trials for 2-3 days at their own cost. They have to bring their own sports kit/equipment for the trails.
4. Non-fulfillment of any of the criteria mentioned in the Advertisement will make the application liable for rejection at any stage.
