Online applications are invited from bonafide citizens of India for recruitment to the post of Medical Officer (Dental), Grade-IV of TDS, Group-Ä (Gazetted) under Health & Fan-Lily Welfare Department, Govt. of Tripura.

2. Educational Qualifications :
(a) Essential:- A recognized Dental qualification included in Part-I & Ill of the Schedule of the Dentist Act, 1948, as appended to this schedule.
(b) Preferable: (i) Recognized post-graduate degree as appended to this schedule. (ii) Working knowledge of Bengali.
3. Pay Scale: The Scale of pay Matrix level-14 under TSCS (Revised Pay) Rules, 2017 (Pre-revised Pay Band-4, Rs. with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/-). The total vacancy positions are 35 (thirty five) posts {UR-II (including- 01 post reserved for Ex.-SM), SC-06 & ST-18}.

Selection Procedure
(a) As per service rule the Recruitment process will comprise of 02 (two) steps, viz —(i) Written Examination: (85 marks-MCQ type, OMR based) (ii) Interview/ Viva : (15 marks).
Out of .15 interview marks, 10 marks will be provided to the candidates, who have performed duty of Covid-19 positive patients in the different health institutions of the Govt. of Tripura. The interview/viva stage carries maximum 15 marks, with the provision that for those with Covid duty certification, there will be an automatic awarding of 10 marks as a component of the interview/ viva, while for those without the certification, there will be no such guaranteed award of marks.
The Director of Health Services will provide list of candidates who have performed duty of Covid-19 positive patients in the different health institutions of the Govt. of Tripura within the closing date of receipt of application. Such a list will contain clear mention of starting date & end date of performed duty. After closing date of receipt of application no such list will be entertained.
(b) For a detailed syllabus & selection process please refer Health & Family Welfare Department Notification No. 10(138)-DME/Syllabus Framing /2021 dated 17-02-2022.
(c) Intenriew cum personality Test: A limited no. of candidates, maximum 3(three) times Of total posts (category wise) will be selected merit wise on the basis of the result of the Written Examination.
(d) It is also mentioned here that candidate(s) scoring marks equal to that of the last qualified candidate in the written examination shall also be called for Interview/Viva.
(e) The final selection will be made in order of merit on the basis of the marks obtained by a candidate in the Written Examination (out of 85) and by adding the marks obtained in the Interview process (out of 15). If a candidate remains absent in the interview process his/her candidature will not be considered for the final merit list.
(f) In the list of recommendations, merit position of candidates securing equal marks will be finalized as per their seniority of age.
(g) Ranks of the candidates are not prepared for the candidates beyond the recornmendation list & wait list (if there be any).

How to Apply:
1. The last date of submission of online application is 31.03.2022 (upto 5.30 PM). The application(s) received aner the closing date will not be entertained.
2. Online Application Portal will be available on Commission's website from 25.02.2022 to PM). Before applying for the post, an applicant shall register his/her bio-data particulars through One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) on the Commission's Website viz. www.tpsc.tripura.gov.in Once applicant registers his/her particulars, a User ID is generated and sent to his/her registered mobile number and email ID.

About Tripura Public Service Commission
The provision for constitution of Public Service Commission was first incorporated under Article 96C of the Government of India Act,1919. Thereafter in 1923 ‘Lee Commission’ was constituted for the purpose of formulating the principles/terms and conditions of Public Service Commission. Subsequently, as per recommendations of the ‘Lee Commission’ Federal Public Service Commission was established in India for the first time, on 1st October, 1926. Lee Commission also recommended for establishment of Provincial Public Service Commission its statehood on 21st January,1972 and Tripura Public Service Commission was established on 30th October, 1972, under the provisions of Article 315 of the Constitution of India. Sri G.P.Bagchi was the first Chairman and Sri I. K. Roy was the first Member of the Tripura Public Service Commission. The Commission is, at present, located at the old Assembly House of Tripura, at Akhaura Road, Agartala
