Assistant Professor

Number of Vacancy: 201 Posts (UR-87, SC-24, ST-90)

Educational Qualification: (i) A Master's Degree with at least 55% of the marks (or equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned / relevant / allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. (ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or the CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/ SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M. Phil/ Ph. D Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.

Pay Scale: INR 57700-182400/- Per Month

Age Limit: Maximum 40 Years.

Selection Procedure: The selection procedure will be governed as per Annexure-A & Annexure-B of the notified schedule of the post of Assistant Professor Government General Degree Colleges. (a) The recruitment process will comprise 02 (two) successive steps: viz- (i) Screening by API Score: 100 marks. (ii) Interview/ Personality Test: 15 marks (15% of 100 marks). (iii) The total marks allotted for preparation of the final merit list is 100 marks.

Application Fee: For General Candidates: Rs. 400/-. For SC/ ST/ BPL Card Holders/ PH Candidates: Rs. 350/-.
