Educational Qualification: 10+2 (plus two) pass or equivaient from a recognized board/institute. Candidates who appeared in 10+2 (plus two) academic year, 2019-20 are also eligible to apply subject to passing the examination before appearing in physical endurance test.

Age Limit: 18-37 years.

Application received after the closing date and time will not be considered for selection. The department will not be responsible for any postal delay.

Lakshadweep formerly known as the Laccadive, Minicoy, and Aminidivi Islands is a group of islands in the Laccadive Sea located in the south western coast of India. The archipelago is a Union Territory and is governed by the Union Government of India. They were also known as Laccadive Islands, although geographically this is only the name of the central subgroup of the group. Lakshadweep comes from "Lakshadweepa", which means "one hundred thousand islands" in Sanskrit. The islands form the smallest Union Territory of India.
