Educational Qualification: M.Sc

Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow to work on Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) (A statutory body of the DST, Government of India) funded research project (No. CRG/ 2021/0004975 dated 18 Feb., 2022) [For a limited period of time]

1. Title of the project: High resolution numerical schemes for hyperbolic conservation laws and its related problems

3. No. of post: 01

4. Duration: 3 years

5. Essential qualification: M. Sc. in Mathematics or equivalent course with first class (CGPA/CPI >= 6.75 on a scale of 10) and have valid GATE Score, CSIR/NET or equivalent examination.

6. Desired qualification: Good academic record and knowledge in the relevant area, preferably: Partial Differential Equations, Numerical Analysis, Python Programming Good analytical ability and technical writing skills.

7. Stipend: First two years Rs 31,000/- per month (Consolidated) and Third year Rs. 35,000/- per month (Consolidated). HRA will be given as per rules

8. Nature of post: The post is on contract basis upto a maximum period of three years subject to satisfactory performance evaluation every Six months.
