Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) funded project “Understanding adult-larval association of caddisflies (Insecta: Trichoptera) from Central and Eastern Himalayas of India based on morphology and DNA sequences”
1. Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
2. Salary: Rs. 31000/- + HRA
3. No. of posts: 01
4. Educational Qualification: M. Sc. in Zoology/ Entomology/ Life Sciences/or equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University.
5. Desirable Qualification: Relevant Research experience in taxonomy, systematics, zoology, field survey, aquatic insect collection, field photography, molecular biology techniques- DNA isolation, PCR, Phylogenetic analyses, bioinformatics.
6. Fellowship will be as per the SERB rules and regulations. For NON-CSIR/UGC NET/JRF/GATE/ICAR,ICMR etc. candidates the fellowship will be@ Rs. 25000/- + HRA
7. Duration: Initially up to one year, may be extended for further period(s) based on satisfactory performance of individual and funding.
