Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Essential Qualification:
- Ph.D./MS or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Optics, Photonics, Instrumentation Engineering, data sciences or a related field.
- Alternatively, candidates with a ME/MTech in the above fields must have a minimum of 3 years of research/teaching/design experience after their ME/MTech degree and at least one SCI journal paper.
- Technical Expertise & Skills:
- Deep knowledge in RF signal processing, electro-optics, and microwave photonics.
- Hands-on experience with high-speed analog optical links, optoelectronic hardware integration, and system characterization (link gain, noise figure, SFDR, phase noise).
- Proficiency in using laboratory instruments such as Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), Optical Spectrum Analyzers (OSA), RF spectrum analyzers, and high-bandwidth oscilloscopes.
- Working knowledge of programming/software tools like Python, LabVIEW, and PyVISA.
