Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Who Can Apply:
  • Eminent artists/private persons meeting essential qualifications and holding technical qualifications of a Principal/Professor (Bharatanatyam/Carnatic Music) level in Central/State/Autonomous institutions.
  • Officers holding the analogous post in Central/State/Autonomous institutions, or Professors (Bharatanatyam/Carnatic Music) with 7 years of regular service in Pay Level 22 (Rs. 56,100 - Rs. 1,77,500) of the TN Govt State Pay Scales or equivalent.
• Essential Qualifications:
  • A Diploma or a Degree in the field of specialization.
  • Proficiency or good knowledge of music or dance (must be able to perform in the category of specialization).
  • Capacity to get on well with artists.
  • An academic degree will be an additional qualification.
  • Knowledge of the local language and English is essential. Knowledge of Hindi will be an additional qualification.
  • Approx. 10 years of service in a supervisory capacity in a reputed institution.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

Kalakshetra Foundation will scrutinise the applications. Candidates who meet the essential qualifications in all respects, as set out in the notice, will be shortlisted. Shortlisted candidates may be called for an interaction with the selection committee.

Note: No TA/DA will be paid for appearing for the interaction/interview.
