Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- General Eligibility: Eligible and willing Indian Forest Service (IFS) Officers meeting the criteria of the Central Staffing Scheme dated 6 May 2011.
- State Forest Service Officers: Considered only in exceptional cases if sufficient IFS officers are unavailable, provided they are in the Select List under Regulation 7(3) of IFS (Appointment by Promotion) Regulations, 1966.
- NTCA Specific Experience:
- AIGF (NTCA): 5 years field experience in wildlife management.
- DIGF (NTCA): 5 years experience in tiger reserve/protected area.
- IGF (NTCA): 8 years experience in wildlife conservation.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- Nominations will be processed to prepare an Offer List for Vacancy Year 2027.
- Selection is based on actual vacancy positions and suitability of officers.
- Three station preferences are allowed, but posting is not assured.
- No TA/DA will be paid for the application process.
