The appointment is on a temporary basis for an initial period of 6 months, which may be extended for another 6 months based on satisfactory performance. The selected candidate must be ready to join immediately.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Essential Qualification: Senior Secondary (10+2) from a recognized board with a minimum typing speed of 35 w.p.m and proficiency in computer word processing and spread sheet applications.
• Desirable Qualification: Work experience of minimum 4 years in any recognized organization, preferably in the purchase section.
• Age Limit: 45 years. The notice does not state a cut-off date for counting age or any age relaxation provisions. Candidates should refer to the official notification for complete eligibility terms.
• Shortlisting Note: Mere fulfilment of the essential qualifications does not entitle a candidate to a call for interview. The Institute may set higher shortlisting criteria if required.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Step 1 — Application Scrutiny: Applications are shortlisted by the Institute as per its requirements and norms.
• Step 2 — Offline Interview: The interview shall be conducted in offline mode at NIT Goa. Interview timings will be shared by email only after scrutiny of applications.
• Step 3 — Email Communication: Intimation about shortlisted candidates and selected candidates will be sent by email only. Candidates must maintain an active email ID and check it regularly.
• Final Decision: The decision of the Institute on all matters of selection is final and binding on applicants.
• TA/DA: The notification does not mention any travel allowance or daily allowance for attending the interview.

Key Instructions: Mention a correct and active email ID as all correspondence is via email only. The Institute reserves the right to fill or not fill any number of posts advertised. No candidate has a claim to an appointment letter as a matter of right, even after recommendation by the Selection Committee. Any other applicable rule will be followed as per Institute norms.
