Assistant Manager (IT/Network & Security) – 2 Vacancies

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering / Technology / Computer Science, or Degree in Engineering in Computer Applications / Information Technology / Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunications / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Instrumentation; OR Post Graduate Degree in Electronics / Electronics & Tele Communication / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Instrumentation / Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Applications
• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in one or more of the areas listed below:
  • Set up / design of at least one Wi-Fi & LAN network for 100 to 250 nodes
  • Creating use cases for security controls such as DLP / EDR / XDR
  • Hands-on management of video conferencing with Central MCU facility
  • SDWAN setup, firewall configuration & network management
  • Strong understanding of security protocols, disaster recovery & business continuity planning

Job Description

• Review and assess the configuration, policies, and effectiveness of HA firewalls
• Evaluate the security posture of core network services (DHCP, DNS, VPN) and recommend hardening measures
• Familiarity with networking and storage technologies such as TCP/IP, Ethernet, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel Protocol
• Assist in planning, implementation, and operational readiness of the proposed EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) solution
• Assess the organisation's preparedness and compliance requirements under the DPDP Act and recommend corrective actions
• Execute short-term and long-term cybersecurity improvements aligned with best practices and regulatory requirements
• Incident analysis and risk mitigation

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection will be done in two stages:

1. Written Test: 125 objective-type questions carrying one mark each (total 125 marks). Duration: 2.5 hours. No negative marking. PwBD candidates are entitled to 50 minutes compensatory time. Minimum qualifying marks: 50% for UR/EWS and 45% for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD against reserved posts.
2. Interview: Candidates will be called in the ratio of 1:6 to the number of vacancies. Weightage distribution:
   • Written Test: 60%
   • Interview: 40% (Technical & Professional Proficiency – 30; Personality, Communication & Competency – 10)
   Minimum qualifying marks in interview: 60% for UR/EWS and 50% for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD against reserved posts. No minimum qualifying marks are required in the aggregate.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test or interview.
