Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Senior Resident (OBG):
- MBBS with PG Degree/Diploma or any other equivalent qualification in the concerned specialty (OBG) recognized by Medical Council of India
- Non-PG candidates with at least two years' experience in the concerned specialty will be considered only if a PG candidate is not available
- Valid registration with Delhi Medical Council (only qualifications incorporated in DMC will be considered)
- Candidate must not have completed three years of Senior Residency
Selection Process & Screening Clause
Selection will be based on a walk-in interview held on 2 November 2026 and 3 November 2026.
- Registration at the Admin Office, 4th Floor, Ambedkar Nagar Hospital between 09:30 AM and 11:00 AM sharp. No candidate will be entertained after 11:00 AM.
- A separate merit list will be maintained for candidates who have completed 3 years as SR under relaxed norms.
- The list of fresh candidates will be exhausted first; the relaxed-norms list will be used only after that.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates
- All original certificates and testimonials must be produced during verification.
- Submit self-attested copies of all documents along with one passport size photograph.
- Handicapped Certificate from the competent authority is required for PwD age relaxation.
- OBC candidates must submit OBC certificate issued for Govt. of NCT of Delhi and Non-Creamy Layer certificate of the current financial year.
- Private practice of any kind is strictly prohibited; selected candidates must not work simultaneously as SR in any other hospital.
- Must wear a white coat with name badge on duty; smoking on duty or while examining patients is prohibited.
- Selected candidates must attend compulsory training on Bio-Medical Waste Management.
