The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts multiple Common Recruitment Processes (CRPs) for different posts, each having distinct age and qualification requirements.
- IBPS Probationary Officer (PO) / Management Trainee (CRP-PO/MT):
Age Limit (General/EWS): Minimum 20 years, Maximum 30 years.
Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification.
- IBPS Clerk (CRP-Clerical):
Age Limit (General/EWS): Minimum 20 years, Maximum 28 years.
Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification, along with working knowledge of computer systems (often requiring a certificate/diploma/degree in Computer Operations/IT).
- IBPS RRB Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager):
Age Limit (General/EWS): Minimum 18 years, Maximum 30 years.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Preference is often given to candidates with degrees in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, etc. Proficiency in the local language of the State/UT is also mandatory.
- Relaxations/Exceptions: Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories, including SC/ST (5 years), OBC (Non-Creamy Layer - 3 years), and PwBD (10 years).
- Clarification: The cut-off date for both age and educational qualification (possession of the degree certificate) is strictly adhered to and mentioned in the respective official notification for that CRP.
