Selection Process & Screening Criteria

The selection process for DSSSB Safai Karamchari & Chowkidar recruitment comprises two stages:

  • Each MCQ carries 1 mark with a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
  • Examination language is bilingual (English and Hindi), except for the English and Hindi language papers.
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks: 50% for UR/EWS category; 45% for OBC(Delhi)/SC/ST/PwBD/ESM.

Stage 2 – Interview (15 Marks)

  • The interview will be conducted by the Office of the Ld. Principal District & Sessions Judge (Hqrs).
  • Maximum candidates called for interview: up to 10 times the total vacancies.
  • There is no minimum qualifying mark in the interview.

  1. Visit the official DSSSB OARS portal at https://dsssbonline.nic.in and click on "Click for New Registration" if registering for the first time.
  2. Complete the online registration using valid details, a scanned photo ID proof, and active contact credentials.
  3. Log in with the generated user ID and password.
  4. Select the appropriate post code (46/26 for Sweeper/Safai Karamchari or 47/26 for Chowkidar) and fill in the online application form accurately.
  5. Upload a recent clear colour photograph with a plain white or off-white background and your signature as per prescribed specifications.
  6. Pay the applicable application fee of Rs. 100/- online through SBI e-pay (exempted for Women, SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen).
  7. Submit the application form before 11 November 2026 (11:00 PM).
  8. Download and retain a printed copy of the submitted application form.

Important Instructions for Candidates

  • Applications must be submitted through online mode only. Postal, hand-delivered, or email applications will not be accepted.
