Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• For Outsiders: Graduate from any recognized University with a pass in the A.P. Government Technical Examination in English Typewriting (Higher Grade). Candidates must possess working knowledge of computer operation.
• For Retired Employees: Retired Ministerial Officers who served as Typist-and-Assistant, available at district headquarters, provided they have not attained 65 years of age. Must possess computer operation knowledge.
• Physical Requirement: Candidate must be of sound health, active habits, and free from bodily defects or infirmity.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

1. Typing Test: Candidates will undergo a skill test in typing as the case may be.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview before the Selection Committee.
3. Note: Selection is made on a temporary basis (Contract). No TA/DA will be paid to candidates to attend the interview.

Terms of Engagement

The appointment is strictly on a contract basis for a period of one year from the date of selection. The term may be extended on a yearly basis solely at the discretion of the appointing authority based on satisfactory performance.
