Section (A) General Studies

The objective of the questions in this section is to test the candidate’s general knowledge of the environment around him and his ability in relation to their application in the society. Such questions will also be included on the knowledge of current events and matters such as minute observation of day-to-day happenings and scientific approach towards them, about which any educated person should have knowledge is expected from In this, questions can be asked specifically in relation to Bihar, India and its neighboring countries.

Current Affairs: Scientific Progress, National/ International Awards Indian Languages, Book, Script, Capital, Currency, Sports-players, Important Events.

India and its Neighboring Countries: History of Neighboring Countries, History of India, Culture, Geography, Economic Scenario, Freedom Movement, Major Features of Indian Agriculture and Natural Resources, Constitution and Polity of India, Political System of the Country, Contribution of Bihar in Panchayati Raj, Community Development, Five Year Plan and National Movement.

Section (B) General Science and Mathematics

In this section, generally questions can be asked from the following subjects of matriculation level:

General Science: Basic / Words of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography and Computer Basic questions related to knowledge of processing.

Mathematics: Questions related to Number System, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions, Interrelationship between numbers, Basic arithmetic operations, Percentage, Ratio and Proportion, Average, Interest, and Profit and Loss.
