Age Limit & Statutory Relaxations

The standard maximum age limits as on the closing date of application are:

  • Scientific Officer / Engineer 'SC': 30 Years (Unreserved / EWS)
  • Scientific Assistant 'B': 30 Years (Unreserved / EWS)
  • Technician 'A': 25 Years (Unreserved / EWS)

💡 DAE Nationality & Medical Fitness Prerequisite

Important Application Caveats

  • Regular Full-Time Degrees: Distance learning or part-time engineering degrees are strictly not acceptable for Scientific Officer recruitments.
  • Final Year Students: Candidates appearing for their final semester exams may apply provided their final result with minimum 60% marks is issued before the interview date.
