RRB ALP Syllabus

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has published the syllabus for the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) Computer-Based Test (CBT) on its official website. All prospective candidates are advised to adhere to the latest syllabus and exam pattern for the year and commence their preparation accordingly. RRB ALP Exam Pattern for CBT 1

The exam pattern of CBT 1 in will be as follows

  • The RRB ALP exam comprises objective-type questions with multiple-choice answers.
  • A total of 75 questions are asked for 75 marks.
  • The exam duration will be 60 minutes.
  • There shall be a negative marking of 1/3rd mark for each incorrect answer.
  • The minimum qualifying marks for UR and EWS were 40%, 30% for OBC (NCL), 30% for SC and 25% for ST.

The exam pattern of CBT 2 in will be as follows

  • The RRB ALP CBT exam covers two parts, i.e., Part A and Part B.
  • The exam duration is 120 minutes and a total of 175 questions will be asked in the exam.
  • There shall be a negative marking of 1/3rd mark for each incorrect answer.
  • The minimum qualifying marks for UR and EWS were 40%, 30% for OBC (NCL), 30% for SC and 25% for ST.
