ACTREC Recruitment 2026: Application for Various Medical Positions

The Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), a constituent institute of the Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), New Delhi, has released a recruitment notification for various full-time positions. This is an excellent opportunity for eligible Indian citizens to build a career in a premier cancer research and treatment centre. The positions are based in Navi Mumbai and other locations under TMC. A total of 21 vacancies are announced for Professor, Assistant Professor, and Consultant roles. Educational Qualification

• Professor Medical Oncology 'F': D.M. / D.N.B. (Medical Oncology) or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by National Medical Commission.
• Assistant Professor 'E' (Pathology - Tumor Tissue Repository): M.D./D.N.B. (Pathology) or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by National Medical Commission.
• Assistant Professor 'E' (Radiation Oncology): M.D. / D.N.B. (Radiation Oncology / Radiotherapy) or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by National Medical Commission.
• Assistant Professor 'E' (Anesthesiology): M.D. / D.N.B. (Anesthesia) or equivalent postgraduate degree in Anesthesiology recognized by National Medical Commission.
• Assistant Professor 'E' (Pathology): DM (Oncopathology) OR DM (Haematopathology) OR M.D. / D.N.B. (Pathology) OR equivalent postgraduate degree in Pathology recognized by National Medical Commission.
• Assistant Professor 'E' (Medical Oncology - Solid Tumor): D.M. /D.N.B. (Medical Oncology) or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by National Medical Commission.
• Assistant Professor 'E' Intensitist (Critical Care):
  • D.M. (Critical Care) or equivalent.
  • OR M.D. / D.N.B. (Anaesthesia / General Medicine / Pulmonary Medicine / Pediatrics) or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by National Medical Commission.
• Assistant Professor 'E' (Interventional Radiology):
  • D.M. (Interventional Radiology).
  • OR M.D. / D.N.B. (Radiodiagnosis) recognized by National Medical Commission.
• Consultant 'E' (Infectious Diseases):
  • D.M. Infectious Disease or equivalent post graduate degree recognised by National Medical Commission.
  • OR M.D Medicine/ Paediatrics or equivalent post graduate degree recognised by National Medical Commission and Fellowship in Infectious Diseases (of at least 01 year).
• Consultant 'E' (Pulmonary Medicine):
  • M.D. or D.N.B. (Respiratory Medicine/Pulmonary Medicine/ TB and Chest Diseases) or equivalent post graduate degree recognized by National Medical Commission.
  • OR D.M. (Pulmonary Medicine/ Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine) or equivalent post graduate degree recognized by National Medical Commission.
• Consultant 'D' (Pathology): M.D./D.N.B. (Pathology) or equivalent postgraduate degree in pathology recognized by National Medical Commission.

Age Limit

• Professor Medical Oncology 'F': 50 Years
• Assistant Professor 'E' (All Disciplines): 45 Years
• Consultant 'E' (All Disciplines): 45 Years
• Consultant 'D' (Pathology): 40 Years

Mandatory Requirements

Candidates are required to have a valid email ID and mobile number. Those working in Central/State Government/Autonomous Bodies must obtain permission from their Head of Organisation before applying and produce it at the time of interview.

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST: 05 Years
• OBC: 03 Years
• PWD: 10 Years (additional 5 years for SC/ST & 3 years for OBC)
• Ex-servicemen: Length of service in Armed forces plus 3 years (additional relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per Govt. Instructions).
• TMC Employees: Maximum 5 years relaxation is applicable.

Note: Age relaxation is not applicable if the post is only for the unreserved category (except for TMC employees).

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be based on an Interview. Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on their application. Tata Memorial Centre-ACTREC reserves the right to fix minimum eligibility standards or benchmarks and restrict the number of candidates called for the interview.

Application Fee

• General/OBC Candidates: Rs. 300/- (Online payment via Debit card/Credit Card/UPI/Net banking).
• SC/ST/Female Candidates/Persons with Disabilities/Ex-servicemen: Exempted from paying the application fee.

The application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
