The Andaman and Nicobar Police is the law enforcing agency for the union territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. An organized form of Policing was established in August, 1875. A Police Training School was established by drawing competent trainers out of existing force and it started functioning at Port Blair with the available infrastructure.
