The basic necessity of an animal attendant is that the person should provide humane treatment to all animals at all times, feeds and cares for animals, Keeps the animals clean and dry, keeps regular checks on animals for any signs of illness, maintains a good interpersonal relationship. Being an animal attendant is a very responsible job since they have to check all the activities of animals and help them get proper treatment if they show some negative behaviour. There is a good requirement of Animal attendant in Wildlife Parks and government maintained Zoos. They need to be physically fit so that they can work in all working conditions like dirty places and sometimes late at night depending upon the requirement. Animal attendants often have to use sprays, disinfectants, brooms, mops and shovels for cleaning indoor and outdoor animal enclosures.
