Skills / Eligibility
Applications are invited for 5 (five) posts of Animal Attendants for a period of six months purely on contractual basis for a period of 6 months in Animal House of Department of Zoology, University of Delhi and incumbent shall have no claim for regularization. 1. Post Name: Animal Attendant 2. No of Posts: 05 3. Remuneration: (Basic Pay Rs. 18000/- + D.A.) As per Delhi University Rule 4. Qualification: 10th class pass or its equivalent examination from a recognized school or institution. At least 3 years work experience in research projects/animal House of University/Research Establishment. 5. Desirable: Secondary or Senior Secondary School certificate with science as one of the subject.

Age Limit: Upper age limit: 30 years (Relaxation of age as per University of Delhi rules)
Selection Procedure
Written test and Skill test based on the following topics will be conducted.
a. Rearing of insets, birds, mammals (rat, mice, rabbits etc.)
b. Handling of above animals
c. Hygiene maintain of insects, birds, mammals (rat, mice and rabbits etc.)
d. Feed composition of the above animals
e. Bio-medical waste handling and general maintenance of animal facilities.

1. Interested applicants fulfilling the above criteria are required to download the application form & submit their applications through "Registered post/Speed post" to the Section Officer, Department of Zoology, University of Delhi (North Campus), — 110007" along with self attested certificates on or before 1St April, 2022 at Delhi 5.00 p.m.
2. The Department reserves the right to change the nature of advertised post or not to fill up the vacancy without assigning any reason
3. Incomplete application will be rejected.
