BMRCL Invites Application for 4 Chief Engineers/ Advisor Recruitment 2022

BMRCL invites applications from qualified and experienced officers (serving or retired) for an appointment to the post of Chief Engineer/ Advisor in the Project Wing. The appointment will be on “contract basis” only.

1. Name of Post: Chief Engineers/ Advisors (Retired)

2. No. of posts: 04

A. Chief Engineers:

3. Minimum Educational Qualification: BE/ B. Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an Institution of repute.

4. Experience:

a. Should have experience of 18 years in Group A Services/Central PSU’s/Metro Rail Corporations.

b. Should have worked in Selection grade of CDA and above or equivalent in IDA. 

c. Should have experience of planning and construction of multi- disciplinary projects in Urban situation such as metro etc.

d. Should have extensive experience in Contract Management, Project Management of important engineering structure such as Building, Bridges, etc. 

e. Candidates having experience and knowledge of coordinating andinterfacing within Railway related disciplines like track laying work, signaling, electrification and rolling  stock will be preferred.

5. Pay: Consolidated pay Rs. 1.5 Lakhs plus applicable allowances

6. Period Of Contract Appointment:

i. The tenure of contract appointment will be 01-03 years.

ii. The contract of appointment may be terminated by either side by giving 01/03 months’ notice or by paying the contractual remuneration of one/ three months in lieu of notice period, if the circumstances so warrant.

B. Chief Engineers / Advisors (Retired)

1. Minimum Educational Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering from an Institute of Repute

2. Experience:

i. Should have retired from SAG for Chief Engineers/HAG for Advisors or equivalent grade from Group A Central Services/ Indian Railways/Central PSU’s/Metro Rail Corporation.

ii Should have extensive experience of Planning, Designing, Contract Management, Project Management of multi-disciplinary project involving Railway lines, Metro Rail, Building, Bridges, Tunnels.

3. Pay Scale: Chief Engineers: Consolidated salary of Rs. 1.4 Lakhs plus applicable allowances Advisors: Consolidated salary of Rs. 1.8 Lakhs.

Selection Procedure

1. Candidates should fill in the application on-line, take a print out of the same and submit along with copies of all certificates in support of qualification and experience prescribed for the post. Candidates who fail to send hard copy of the on-line application along with relevant documents will not be considered even though they have submitted application on-line.
