Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Professor (3 posts): As per UGC Norms. Departments open: Assamese, English, Zoology. Specialization Open.
- Associate Professor (5 posts): As per UGC Norms. Departments open: Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Science & Engineering, Geography, Zoology. Specialization Open.
- Assistant Professor (8 posts): As per UGC Norms. Departments open: Botany, Computer Science & Engineering, Economics, Education, Mathematics, Mass Communication and Journalism, Political Science, Sociology. Desirable specialization Open in all eight departments.
Additional conditions:
- Open to Indian Citizens only.
- Reservation policy of the Government of Assam as adopted by the University applies.
- UGC Regulations (additional) issued in continuation of the July 2018 Regulations, if any, will be applicable.
- Separate application and separate fee for each post applied for.
- Candidates who applied for Assistant Professor in Botany vide Advt. Nos. BU/E&A Sec./Advt./T/01/2022/1756 dated 27/06/2022 and BU/E&A Sec./Advt./T/02/2023/2553 dated 15/03/2023 need not apply again; they may submit updated documents.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
The selection process for Bhattadev University Teaching Recruitment 2026 involves two stages:
- Shortlisting of Applicants: When the number of applicants is large against any one post, the University reserves the right to shortlist candidates for interview. Mere fulfilment of minimum qualification does not entitle an applicant to be invited to the interview.
