Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Post: Social Media Analyst (02 Vacancies)
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or any other recognized graduate degree from a recognized University/Institute.
• Experience (Mandatory): Minimum 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in social media management and digital marketing.
• Technical Skills:
  • Experience managing official social media platforms – Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other digital channels.
  • Experience in creating and scheduling social media content, campaign planning, and audience engagement.
  • Proficiency in social media analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics, etc.) and preparing performance reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Preferred & Desirable:
  • Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Digital Marketing, Mass Communication, Advertising, or Social Media Management.
  • Experience with graphic design/video editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or similar software.
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, social media trends, and digital advertising.
  • Experience handling social media accounts for Government Departments, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies, or reputed organizations.
  • Certification in Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Google Analytics, Meta Blueprint, or equivalent.
• Other Conditions:
  • Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
  • Preference may be given to local candidates and/or candidates with relevant experience in the same or similar department.
  • Candidates previously engaged by BECIL and/or the Client are ineligible if services were terminated due to disciplinary action, misconduct, unsatisfactory performance, or violation of contractual terms.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

1. Application Scrutiny: Applications are screened against prescribed eligibility criteria. BECIL may shortlist candidates based on higher qualifications, greater relevant experience, or any other criteria it considers appropriate.
2. Shortlist Forwarding: The list of shortlisted candidates is forwarded to the Client/Principal Employer (Ministry of Mines).
3. Client Evaluation: The Client carries out further selection, which may include an interview, assessment, skill test, or any other evaluation method it decides.
4. Final Selection: Candidates selected by the Client are informed of their selection and next formalities by email and/or telephone.

Important: Meeting qualification and experience requirements does not by itself entitle a candidate to be called for any stage. Preference may be given for higher qualifications, superior academic credentials, additional relevant experience, or other desirable criteria set by the Client. BECIL has no obligation to publish interim results, stage-wise shortlists, or marks. Only the final result listing selected candidates will appear on the BECIL website. No TA/DA will be paid for attending any stage of the selection process.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

• Original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies of all relevant certificates and testimonials, to be produced at document verification, interview, or personal interaction.
• A valid Police Verification Report (PVR) is required at Document Verification after selection.
• If false information or ineligibility is discovered after engagement, services may be terminated forthwith and legal action initiated.
• Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at New Delhi.
