Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in law from a reputed institution/University.
• Experience: At least 15 years' working experience (post qualification) in the Power Sector, Judicial body, or Regulatory/quasi-judicial body dealing with legal matters.
• Competencies: Excellent drafting, communication, and analytical skills. Adept at working on computers (MS Office).
• Desirable Skills: In-depth understanding of the electricity sector's regulatory framework, knowledge of National Electricity Policy, Tariff Policy, and experience in drafting orders/regulations.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Eligibility will be considered by a Consultancy Evaluation Committee (CEC).
• Performance evaluated based on technical parameters: Academic background & experience (0.50 weight), Drafting skills (0.30 weight), Knowledge of working environment (0.20 weight).
• Only short-listed candidates will be called for an interaction with the Selection Committee.
• The CEC reserves the right to conduct a written test to evaluate drafting and presentation skills.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interaction/interview.

• Attach self-attested copies of certificates for academic/professional qualifications and experience in chronological order.
• Affix a recent passport size colour photo to the resume format.
• Attach a sample copy of a report and presentation prepared by the candidate.
• Send the hard copy to Dy. Chief (Admin.), 8th Floor, Tower-B, World Trade Centre, Nauroji Nagar, New Delhi 110029 by 20th November 2026 up to 5.00 PM.
• Appointment is on purely contract basis for a limited period and does not confer any right to regular appointment.
