The Centre of Excellence for studies in Classical Telugu (CESCT), a Government of India initiative following awarding of the Classical Status to Telugu, requires following positions on “Contractual Basis”.'

1. Name of the Post: Junior Accounts Officer

2. No of Posts: 01

3. Monthly remuneration (Consolidated) Rs.37,800

4. Educational & Essential qualification: 

1) Any degree from recognized University.

2) Minimum of 10 Years of Experience in responsible position in any Central / State Government office / Autonomous bodies with exposure in establishment & Accounts work.

3) Computer knowledge is essential

5. Knowledge of Central Government rules is preferred.

 

1. Name of the Post: Office Superintendent

2. No of Posts: 01

3. Monthly remuneration (Consolidated) Rs.37,800

4. Educational & Essential qualification: 

1) Any degree from recognized University.

2) Minimum of 10 Years of Experience in responsible position in any Central / State Government office / Autonomous bodies with exposure in establishment & Accounts work.

3) Computer knowledge is essential

5. Knowledge of Central Government rules is preferred.

 

1. Name of the Post: Senior Fellow

2. No of Posts: 05

3. Monthly remuneration (Consolidated) Rs.41,000

4. Educational & Essential qualification: Doctorate degree in Telugu (Language, Literature and Culture) or Linguistic related TELUGU Languages with Master’s Degree in and on the same subjects from a recognized University with at least 55% marks. Retired persons are preferred.

5. Experience: Minimum 10 years of teaching and research experience in a recognized University or College or Institution. At least 10 reputed publications and 10 papers in and on TELUGU, especially in CLASSICAL TELUGU. Knowledge of working on computers.

6. Evidence of undertaking research projects and accomplishment. Evidence of research guidance at Doctorate degree level in Telugu Language, Literature and Culture or Linguistics related to Telugu Language. Proficiency in more than one Indian Language, especially in classical languages and in English.

 

1. Name of the Post: Project Director

2. No of Posts: 01

3. Monthly remuneration (Consolidated) Rs.70,000

4. Educational & Essential qualification: 

a) Doctoral Degree in Linguistics or Literature related to TELUGU language, with at least 15 years of research/teaching experience and at least 3 years of administrative experience in a reputed organization or an educational institution.

b) Knowledge of Central Government rules and regulations are essential to run the CESCT. The candidates should be dynamic, research oriented and able to lead the Centre as per its aims and objectives. He/she has to coordinate/supervise the 30 research scholars of doctoral and post-doctoral fellows, senior and junior research scholars, Junior Resource Persons and 6 office staff.

 

1. Name of the Post: Associate Fellow

2. No of Posts: 10

3. Monthly remuneration (Consolidated) Rs.37,000

4. Educational & Essential qualification: Doctorate degree in TELUGU (Language, Literature and Culture) or Linguistic related TELUGU Languages with Master’s Degree in and on the same subjects from a recognized University with at least 55% marks. Retired persons are preferred.

5. Experience:

1) Minimum 5 years of teaching and research experience in a recognized University or College or Institution. At least 10 reputed publications and 5 papers in and on TELUGU, especially in CLASSICAL TELUGU

2) Knowledge of working on computers.

The Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL) is an Indian research and teaching institute located in Mysore, part of the Language Bureau of the Ministry of Human Resource Development. It was established on 17 July 1969.
