Educational Qualification:
Associate Professor:
i. Ph.D. degree in the relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch.
ii. At least 6 research articles in SCI/Scopus/UGC approved list of journals.
iii. Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching / research / industry out of which at least 2 years shall be Post Ph.D. experience.

Professor: Ph. D. degree in relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch. AND Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching / research / industry out of which at least 3 years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor. AND At least 6 research articles at the level of Associate Professor in SCI/Scopus/UGC approved list of journals and at least 2 successful Ph.D. guided as Supervisor / Co-supervisor till the last date for submission of application. OR At least 10 research articles at the level of Associate Professor in SCI/Scopus/UGC approved list of journals till the last date for submission of application.

Pay Scale:
INR
131400-144200/- Per Month

Age Limit: As Per Rules.

Selection Procedure: please refer to official notification.

Application Fee: Bank Draft of Rs. 1500/- (Rupees fifteen hundred) for UR & OBC and Rs. 750/- (Rupees seven hundred and fifty) for SC/ST in favor of CIT Kokrajhar payable at SBI Balagaon (IFSC: SBIN0007379). PWD/Women candidates are exempted from paying the application fee. The application fees once paid will not be refunded on any account.

Central Institute of Technology (CIT), Kokrajhar is situated in Kokrajhar District of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) in Assam. CIT has been established to impart Bodo youths with requisite technological and vocational training to produce the required manpower to give the impetus to the economic growth of this area and to integrate the Bodo People into the mainstream of Technical and Vocational Education. It is a Centrally Funded Institute under the Ministry of Human Resource Development.

Central Institute of Technology Kokrajhar (CIT) was established on 19th December 2006. The Institute is an autonomous body and functions under a Board of Governors (BOG).

CIT imparts Technical and Vocational Education such as Information Technology, Biotechnology, Food Processing, Rural Industries, Business Management, etc. It is thus envisioned to acquire a unique place in the field of technical education in India through it's modular and innovative academic programmes.

Currently, CIT offers Diploma courses in Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Control and Instrumentation (CAI), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and Food Processing Technology (FPT), Construction Technology and Animation and Multimedia.
CIT offers degree programmes in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Food Processing Technology, Civil Engineering(Construction Technology) and Information Technology.
