Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
Both posts require Indian nationality. The qualification and experience requirements are identical for the Registrar and Controller of Examinations positions:
For Registrar (Direct Recruitment / Deputation)
- Master's degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever a grading system is followed.
- Experience (one of the following pathways):
- At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor at Academic Level 11 and above, or 8 years of service at Academic Level 12 and above (including Associate Professor) along with experience in educational administration.
- Comparable experience in a research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education.
- 15 years of administrative experience, of which at least 8 years as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
For Controller of Examinations (Direct Recruitment / Deputation)
- Master's degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever a grading system is followed.
- Experience (one of the following pathways):
- At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor at Academic Level 11 and above, or 8 years of service at Academic Level 12 and above (including Associate Professor) along with experience in educational administration.
