Chaudhary Charan Singh National Institute of Agricultural Marketing is an autonomous organisation established by Government of India under Ministry of Agriculture.

Agricultural Marketing System of the Country has increasing challenges such as Cleaning, Grading , Quality, Certification, Packaging Storage, Transportation, Financing, Wholesaling and retailing etc.

Te main objectives of the institute are to impart training to various levels of functionaries to conduct research, to offer consultancy services and education to develop promising human resources in order to meet the new emerging challenges in the field of agricultural marketing.

NIAM offers a AICTE approved two-year PGDABM for students with graduation or Post-Graduation in agriculture and allied sciences. The Post Graduate Diploma in Agri-Business Management combines the best of MBA with unique skills required for a career in Agri-Business.

All India entrance test NIAMAT conducted which covers quantitative analysis, data interpretation, English, Agriculture & social awareness questions. On the basis of written test students are finalized. The final test comprises group discussion/case studies, extempore and personal interview. Thus after a rigorous procedure a student is selected for PGDABM at NIAM.
