Chenab Valley Power Project Private Limited (CVPP), was incorporated on 13th June 2011, as a joint venture company of National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited (NHPC), Jammu & Kashmir State Power Development Corporation (JKSPDC) and Power Trading of India Limited. It’s a Hydroelectric Project the company execute these projects on Build, Own, Operate and Maintain (BOOM).

The main objective of Company is to develop basic infrastructure for economic growth for hydropower is the main source of renewable energy in Jammu & Kashmir. The Company plays vital role in areas of power generation to meet the national demand for sustainable energy.
