Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Graduate Apprentice (Electronics & Communication Engg.)
- Qualification: Degree in Engineering/Technology (B.E./B.Tech) in Electronics & Communication Engineering or equivalent, granted by a Statutory University or an Institution empowered by an Act of Parliament.
- CGPA conversion: If percentage not given, multiply CGPA by 10.
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentice (Mechanical Engg.)
- Qualification: Diploma in Engineering/Technology in Mechanical Engineering from a State Council/Board of Technical Education, University, or recognized Institution.
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentice (Electrical Engg.)
- Qualification: Diploma in Engineering/Technology in Electrical Engineering from a recognized body.
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentice (Electronics & Communication Engg.)
- Qualification: Diploma in Engineering/Technology in Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognized body.
- Common Eligibility:
- Age: Above 18 years as on 30 Oct 2026.
- Citizenship: Indian citizen domiciled in Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
- Not previously undergone or currently undergoing apprenticeship under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
The selection will be carried out in the following stages:
- Short‑listing: Candidates will be short‑listed based on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualifying qualification for the respective discipline. In case of identical percentages, seniority in the passing year will be considered.
- Document Verification: Short‑listed candidates must attend the certificate verification with original and self‑attested copies of age proof, qualification certificates, mark sheets, caste/disability certificate (if applicable), and photo ID.
- Medical Fitness: Final provisional selection is subject to medical examination as per the Apprentices Act.
No TA/DA will be paid for the interview/verification process.
