CUSAT Programmer Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 3 Posts

Introduction

Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) has released a notification for the recruitment of Programmer posts on a contract basis. Interested candidates with the requisite educational qualifications and experience can apply online before the last date.

This recruitment is specifically for the Centre for Imaging and Remote Sensing (CIRM). The selected candidates will be appointed initially for a period of one year, extendable up to two years based on performance.

Eligibility for Programmer

• Essential Qualification:
  One of the following:
  1. MCA / B. Tech (Electrical & Electronics / Electronics / Computer Science).
  2. B. Tech (any discipline) with specialisation on Computer (i.e., PGDCA or equivalent).
  3. B. Tech (any discipline) with minimum 1 year experience in Data Processing / Software Development.
  4. M.Sc with specialisation in Electronics / Physics / Computer Science / Mathematics / Statistics with minimum 1 year experience in Data Processing / Software Development.
• Age Limit (as on 01 Jan 2026): 18 to 36 years. Age relaxation applicable for Backward communities and SC/ST candidates as per government rules.
• Experience: As mentioned in the essential qualification for specific degree categories.

• SC/ST: ₹185/-
