Applications are invited on the prescribed form from the eligible candidates for the fellowship in the adhoc project as per detail given below. 1. Post Name: Junior Research Fellow 2. No. of Post: 01 3. Remuneration: Rs. 25,000/- fixed PM HRA for 1s & 2n year & Rs. 28000/- fixed PM +HRA for 3Pd year (Under revision for Rs. 31000/ PM+HRA) 4. Qualification: M.Sc (Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Life Sciences) with adequate laboratory work experience. OR Ph. D. (Biotechnology/ Biochemistry /Life Sciences) with laboratory work experience. 5. Name of Project: DBT funded Project: "Genetic Enhancement 01 Pulses Characterization, evaluation, genetic enhancement and of Minor generation genomic resources for utilization accelerated and of improvement minor pulses (Adhoc GOI-5036- 14) 6. Duration of Fellowship Co-terminus with the project DÍ availability of s funds.

2. Work Specific Interaction will be held on 02.02.2022 at 11.00 AM in the office of the Head, Deptt.. of Genetics and Plant Breeding, COA, CSKHPKV, Palampur. No separate communication in this regard shall be made.

Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya (renamed as Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya in June 2001) was established on 1st November 1978. The College of Agriculture (established in May 1966) formed the nucleus of the new farm University. It is ICAR accredited and ISO 9001:2015 certified institution. The Indian Council of Agricultural Research has ranked this University at eleventh place among all farm universities in the country.
The University has a mandate for making provision for imparting education in agriculture and other allied branches, furthering the advancement of learning, research, and undertaking extension of such branches, especially to the rural population of Himachal Pradesh.
Over the years, this University has contributed significantly to transforming the farm scenario of Himachal Pradesh. It has developed human resources, varieties, and technologies and transferred these to the farming community enabling the State to receive the “Krishi Karman Award” of Govt. of India four times in a row for food grain production among small states of the country. Today, the State has earned its name for hill agricultural diversification and the farming community has imposed its faith in the University.
