Currency Note Press, Nashik is a Unit of Security Printing & a Miniratna Minting Corporation of India Limited (S PMCIL) , Category—I Central public Sector Enterprise (wholly owned by Govt . of India) and under the administrative control of the Ministry of Finance, Deptt. Of Economic Affairs, invites applications for the post of Consultant at Workmen level on fixed tenure contract basis for a period up to 31—03—2022 from those who have retired on superannuation from Govt . /PSU/SPMCIL service 1. Post Name: Consultant at Workmen Level 2. No of Post: 25 3. Eligibility Criteria: i) Retired from Govt. /PSU/SPMCIL service (from W—I to Level) having functional knowledge and in the hands on experience Maintenance Printing, and Control departments of Security Printing Organization or Currency Printing Organization. ii) Retired with Pay Matrix Level—I in pay Scale—Rs .18000— 56900/— to Level-6 in Pay Scale— Rs.35400-112400/- as per 7th CPC. 4. Salary: Rs. 30,000/- per month 5. Period of enqaqement: for the period up to 31.03.2022 6. Advt. No. 01/2022

Age Limit: Age Of the retired employee from Govt . /PSU/SPMCIL should be less than 65 years, however, the agreement/Contract for engagement will be automatically terminated on attaining the age of 65 years.
1. The candidates fulfilling Eligibility Criteria and General, Conditions after of the applications, may be appeared for walk—in interview from date of publish of Advertisement till 15.02 .2022.
2. The last date may be extended for further period for operational exigency, if any.
3. However, those who will submit their application within the stipulated time and they will fulfill the eligibility criterion but due to any reasons, candidate may not be in position to attend walk-in interview during walk—in interview during stipulated period, they may be called subsequently through telephonic corrununication for appearing in interview
4. As per recortunendation of the Committee and after approval of the Competent Authority, the selected individuals may be intimated for engagement on fixed tenure basis as consultant at workmen level accordingly.
Last date of Applications and to be addressed to: Application in the specified format addressed to the Chief General Manager, 422 101 along—with relevant Currency Note Press, Nashik enclosures e.g. copy of PPO Book etc., must reach by post or by 422 101, on or before hand to Currency Note Press, Nashik 15.02.2022. Applications received after due date will not be entertained.
1. The Consultants shall observe normal working hours of the Unit and may be required to set late and called on Sundays/ Holidays whenever necessary
2. The selected candidate will not have any claim over other emoluments/ benefits/ compensations available to other SPMCIL employees
3. However, for any out station travel as per the with the prior approval of the competent requirement, authority, only the expenses towards travelling, lodging and boarding (as per SPMCIL Travel rules/ policies) will be borne by SPMCIL.
4. The selected candidate will also have no right whatsoever to claim for regular employment in SPMCIL by virtue of being engaged through fixed term contract
5. There shall be no criminal case pending against the candidate
6. The candidate should not have been compulsorily retired by the Govt . /PSU/SPMCIL A self—declaration in this regard to be submitted by the candidate. (Attached self—declaration format)
7. The engagement may be terminated at any time without assigning any reason by giving a notice of 15 days.
8. The Consultants will be discharged as and when alternative arrangements are made to attend to the work allotted to them.

SPMCIL, technically a new entity, has centuries-old experience in Security Printing and Minting. The management, control, maintenance and operations of the erstwhile 9 production units under Currency and Coinage division, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, was transferred to SPMCIL w.e.f. February 10, 2006. The Ministry of Finance exercises its administrative control over SPMCIL through Board of Directors.
SPMCIL is engaged in the manufacture/ production of Currency and Bank Notes, Security Paper, Non-Judicial Stamp Papers, Postal Stamps & Stationary, Travel Documents viz. Passport and Visa, Security certificates, Cheques, Bonds, Warrant, Special Certificates with security features, Security Inks, Circulation & Commemorative Coins, Medallions, Refining of Gold & Silver, and Assay of Precious Metals.
