Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Post Name: Deputy Chief Vigilance Officer
- Qualification: Officers holding analogous posts or officers holding posts in the pay scale of Rs. 20600-46500 (Rs. 10750-16750 pre-revised) with 3 years regular service in Major Port Trusts.
- Desirable: Preference will be given to persons having experience in vigilance work.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- Selection will be by merit.
- The benchmark in overall grading in the APARs will not be below Very Good.
- Applicants must be clear from the vigilance angle with no disciplinary or vigilance case pending or contemplated.
- Head of Office must certify integrity and that no major or minor penalty was imposed during the last 10 years.
Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates
- Attested copies of ACRs of the applicants for the last five years.
- Attested copies of all certificates.
- No-objection Certificate of respective Ports.
- An undertaking of the applicant, not to withdraw his/her candidature, if selected.
- Vigilance/ Administrative Clearance from the concerned Ports in the Proforma prescribed by the Ministry (Annexure-III).
