The Combat Vehicles Research & Development Establishment (CVRDE), a premier laboratory of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), invites applications for engagement as ITI Apprentice Trainees under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: ITI passed from an NCVT/SCVT recognized institute in the relevant trade of minimum two years' duration (exceptions: COPA, Painter, Plumber, Welder, Food Production). Only regular candidates are eligible; private candidates are not eligible.
- Passing Year: Candidates who passed the qualifying exam in 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 are eligible. Candidates who passed earlier than 2023 are not eligible.
- Result Declaration: Results must have been declared by 30 August 2026. Provisional certificates are acceptable at the time of joining.
- Age Limit: Minimum 18 years. Maximum age as per category (UR: 27, OBC: 30, SC/ST: 32, PwD: 37 years) as on 01 September 2026.
- OBC Certificate: Expired OBC certificates will not be accepted.
- Mandatory Pre-Registration: Candidates must register on the NCVT/SCVT MIS Portal (https://ncvtmis.gov.in) before attending the walk-in interview.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting: Based on marks obtained in the qualifying ITI examination.
- Walk-in-Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a walk-in interview.
