An interview for filling of project positions as per details given below for the Innovation Hub Foundation for Cobotics (IHFC), IIT Delhi sponsored Project under Principal Investigator- Prof. Vikas Rastogi, Mechanical Engineering Department, Delhi Technological University (DTU) and Coinvestigator- Prof. P.M. Pathak, Mechanical Engg. Department, IIT, Roorkee is scheduled to be held on 14th March, 2022 in the physical/online mode in Mechanical Engg. Department, DTU

1. Designation: SRF

2. No of Post: 01

3. Minimum Qualifications: 

a) BE/B.Tech. in Mechanical Engg. And allied branch/Electrical/CS /Electronics Engg./ Engg. Physics or Equivalent. AND M.E./M.Tech. in Mech. and allied branch Mechatronics/ Robotics/ Design Engg./ Electronics /Electrical /CS or any related branch.

b) 1st Division at B.E./M.E. levels Desirable: NET/GATE Qualified

4. Experience: Expertise in area of robotics/Drone applications/hardware design/ Product Design innovation/fabrication/ Software as per project requirements.

5. Monthly Stipend: Rs. 35,000/- (Consolidat ed including HRA)

6. Title of Project: Design and development of an intelligent unmanned aerial vehicle applied to open cast minefield surveillance for real-time monitoring, hazards and vulnerability assessment

7. Duration: Appointment to the SRF post shall be initially for six month duration and can be extended to Duration of the Project.

8. Job description: 

a) For conceptual design/fabrication/software development /avionics work.

b) To perform pilot study, report writing and project related work as assigned time to time.

c) The selected candidate will not be entitled to any other allowances like TA, DA, medical benefits or any others benefits.

d) Annual Satisfactory Assessment is mandatory to continue the benefit of the fellowship during the period of project. Termination of the candidate anytime is on the sole discretion of the committee or Principal Investigator of project due to unsatisfactory performance.

e) The selected candidate shall be governed by the disciplinary regulations of the DTU. 

f) The selected candidate must send a report of the research work done during the period of fellowship as may be asked by IHFC, IIT Delhi.

g) Participation in any workshops/scientific event/ conferences/visit to any organization or academic institution for project work in India will treated as “on duty” with prior approval of the competent authority/PI.

h) The candidate may be offered Ph.D. registration in DTU as per the ordinances/guidelines of Ph.D. admission

9.Project Sponsoring Agency: The Project is sponsored by Technological Innovation Hub for Cobotics, IIT Delhi for a period of 3 years.
